Rose Anna Marie Roberts Walker

Rose Anna was born to Lester Merrit & Barbara Neil Cox Robets on March 31, 1948 in Hanford, California. Rose Anna passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at Adventist Medical Center in Hanford, California. Rose Anna has been a resident of Hanford, California for the last 30 years. She worked as a Yard Duty Assistant for Hanford Elementary School District.

Rose Anna is survived by her husband; Winifred Earl Walker of 47 years. She also survived by her loving children; Barbara & Frank Mendez of Lemoore, California, Debra Castodio of Heightsville, California and Brian Walker of Alabama. She will also be missed by her dear sisters; Dixie Hedges and Vikki McFarland both of Hanford, California. Rose Anna was cherished by her four grandchildren; Mallory Costales of Goleta, California, Andrew Costales of Camarillo, California, Krystal Castodio of Alabama and Dustin Castodio of Nevada. Rose Anna was a very proud great-grandma to Emmalynn Faye Castodio of Nevada and a new great-grandbaby on the way!

A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, May 7, 2012 at 1:15 p.m. at Bakersfield National Cemetery; 30338 E. Bear Mountain Blvd., Arvin, CA 93203. 661-867-2250.

Services are under the direction of People's Funeral Chapel.
