Ron Bruner

Ronald Dale Bruner of Hanford, California passed away May 17, 2015 at the age of 49. Ronald was born December 5, 1965 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma to Willie Paul Bruner Jr. and Marian Delores Cannon-Bruner. Ronald was an avid NASCAR and 49’ers fan, a loving son, grandson, nephew, brother, Uncle and cousin. Although Ronald never married he had tons of love in his life and is known to his friends and family simply as “Uncle Ron”. He was injured in a motorcycle accident in 1986 that left him paralyzed; he never let that define his life, rather he embraced the life that was dealt to him with love and excitement of life itself.

Ronald was preceded in death by his father Willie Paul Bruner Jr., his Paternal Grandparents Willie Paul Bruner Sr. and Louise Colbert-Bruner, his Maternal Grandfather William Nelson Cannon, his stepfather Thomas Luis Gonzalez Jr. as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Ronald is survived by his mother, Marian Delores Gonzalez of Hanford, California, brother, James & wife, Chris Bruner and their daughter Jozette of Quincy, CA, brother, Paul & wife, Carol Bruner and their children, Willie & Brittany Bruner, Cody and Spencer Bruner of Sand Springs, OK, his sister, Teresa & husband, Michael Brock and their children, Justin, Michael Jr. & wife, Amanda, Nathan, Danielle and Manuel Brock all of Hanford, CA, sister, Barbara Bruner & Dusty Miller and their children, Anthony Gonzalez, Angela Transue and Audree & husband, Todd Rucker all of Quincy, CA as well as his great-nephews and nieces, Joshua, Chanc and Kylor Bruner of Sand Springs, OK, Evan and Melody Ryan, Mason Brock and Michael Brock III all of Hanford, CA, Andrea Bruner, Leah Rucker and Donovan Gonzalez all of Quincy, CA.

Ronald came from a very large family and was truly an inspiration to them all. You will always be in our hearts and will be forever missed, Son, Brother, “Uncle”, Grandson, Cousin and Friend.

A Celebration of Ron’s Life will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at People’s Funeral Chapel; 501 N. Douty Street, Hanford, CA 93230 559-584-5591.
