Robert Wessel

Robert is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Connie Piergalski.

He leaves behind his loving wife of over 50 years. Donna; daughter Sharon Rutter;

Granddaughters, Kristina (Jason) Fowler of Visalia, Diane Rutter and grandson Bobby Rutter of Hanford; seven grandchildren, Jesse, Sage, Jasmine and Jocelyn Morris, Nicholas Souza, Jackson Rutter and Carlie Rutter all of Hanford.

Robert is also is survived by brothers, Ed (Rose) Wessel of Florida and Dale Wesolek of Pittsburgh; sisters, Irma Jean Murphy of Las Vegas and Pat (Joe) Serakowski of Grove City, PA, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Bob retired from the Navy as a Chief after 30 years and then worked as a civilian at NAS Lemoore. He is a past President of the Fleet Reserve, Past Exalted Ruler of the Hanford Elks and served as District

Deputy for the Elks, he was a Volunteer at the Lemoore police department and served as Secretary for the Hanford Elk Lodge for many years. Bob was a kind and caring person who will be greatly missed by his many friends and surviving family.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held Thursday, March 10, 2011 at 1:00 pm at the Hanford Elks Lodge No 1259, 506 North Douty Street, Hanford, CA 93230.
