Robert Carroll Lambert

Robert “Bob” Carroll Lambert, 69 was born in Montebello, California on October 4, 1944 to Ulysses “Jug” Grant Lambert and Ocie Jane Everett Lambert. He left this world to be with his Lord and Savior on January 16, 2014.

Bob spent most of his years in Avenal, California. He graduated from Avenal High School with the class of 1962. After high school graduation, Bob attended Coalinga Junior College, now West Hills College, and later graduated from Bakersfield College with a degree in Business Administration. He married Mary Jo Jordan in 1967. Together they loved to travel, participate in various events with their children and grandchildren and attend their church, Avenal Assembly of God, whenever the doors were open. Bob was loved by many and will be greatly missed. He was a devoted husband, father and grandpa. His faith in Jesus Christ was the most important part of his life.

Bob was preceded in death by his father and mother and his sisters, Martha Louise Little and Marilee Jane Lambert.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Lambert; his oldest daughter, Donna Isaac, her husband Mike and grandchildren, Kimberlee and Rebecca; his second daughter, Angela Stafford, her husband John and grandchildren, Trent and Macee; his third daughter, Kristi Emerson, her husband Joe and grandchildren, Jillian and Jackson; and his only son, Robert “Bobby” Lambert and grandchildren, Michael, Kyle and Marilyn. Bob is also survived by his older brother, Olin Lambert and his wife Joan and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Funeral Service and Celebration of his life will be held on Friday, January 24, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church; 750 E. Grangeville Blvd., Hanford, CA 93230 with Burial to follow at Grangeville Cemetery; 10428 14th Avenue, Armona, CA 93202.
