Mr. Hernandez worked as a farm laborer in his early years. He then began his career in the auto industry at Hughes Auto Wrecking in Lemoore until his retirement. Mr. Hernandez enjoyed popping bottles, listening to a variety of music, playing his guitar, and BBQ’ing on the weekends. He also enjoyed the company of his fur babies; Vato, Buddy, Paloma, and Chiquita who's also in Heaven.
Pete resided in Lemoore and entered into eternal life on August 21, 2018 in Hanford, CA. Just two days shy of 66th birthday, with the love of his life Minnie, the mother of his children. As he would say, "The woman who made his bones quiver" by his side. One of his many grandchildren, Marisol, was also by his side. Mr. Hernandez is survived by his four children; Pete Hernandez of Bakersfield, Andres Hernandez and wife Rita of Hanford, Norma Hernandez of Tulare, Angela Hernandez and fiancé Joe Lopez of Hanford two step children; Susie Barrera and husband Victor of Corcoran, and Juan Donez of Lemoore. Pete has 25 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He is also survived by 5 brothers; Albert, Antonio, David Hernandez, all of Hanford. Daniel Hernandez and Robert Cancio of Blythe, sister Nellie Martinez and mother Concha Perez of Blythe and numerous nieces, nephews, and godchildren.
Pete is preceded in death by his father Pete F. Hernandez and sister, Susie Hernandez.
