Jean was born in Arkansas and moved to Armona as a child. She attended Armona school and graduated from Hanford High School in 1956. She married at that time and had three children from that marriage. In 1969 she married Corky Tribble and moved to Hanford, thus created a blended family which numbered 7 children.
She worked at Sacred Heart Hospital where she eventually became office manager in the billing department. In 1977 she went to work for Dr. Lloyd Christensen as bookkeeper and office manager for about 15 years. She retired from Kings Convalescent Hospital as Director of Medical Records where she worked for 15 years. Her “retirement” included working part time in the office of First Baptist Hanford where she put together the weekly bulletin which utilized her journalism skills and fulfilling other office duties until 2016.
Jean was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Family was extremely important to her and was always a constant in her family’s lives. She was a long-time member of First Baptist Hanford where she did various volunteer work along with her office job. She was an avid reader and was never without a book going. She and Corky would have celebrated 50 years of marriage in June.
She was preceded in death by her beloved son Rick Biesbrock, granddaughter Felicia Tribble and great grandson Tommy Laux.
She is survived by her beloved husband and best friend Leo “Corky” Tribble and her children Melinda Tallman of Turlock, CA, Sharon Biesbrock of Hanford, CA, David Tribble of Modesto, CA, Rod Tribble of Washington, DC, Wayne Tribble of San Diego, CA, Phillip Tribble of Alamogordo, NM along with 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be February 2, 2019 at First Baptist Hanford with a reception to follow.
