Our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Louis Ronquillo, 82, of Hanford, CA, passed away on December 21, 2022 after a lengthy battle with Parkinson’s disease. Louis was born on June 2, 1940, in San Miguel, CA, and grew up in the Hanford area. He served in the armed forces in Germany in the early years of his life and then worked at Armstrong/Pirelli Tire for 33 years until his retirement. He was a member and served as a deacon at the Lighthouse Fellowship Church and spent much of his free time volunteering countless hours of his time at his church and local charities over the years, including St. Vincent De Paul Center and Kings Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. He valued and loved his family deeply and enjoyed spending as much time as possible with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He loved God and his country and saluted the flag every Sunday morning at church. He was generous, kind, caring and loving to a fault and enjoyed the simple things in life and will be dearly missed by his family and many friends.
Louis was predeceased by his parents, John and Augustina Ronquillo; brothers, Richard, Ralph and Willie and sister, Mary. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Sharon Sue Ronquillo; his children, Suzette Lorenz (Robbie), Lisa Van Boxtel (Thor) and Jason Ronquillo; grandchildren, Travis Rose (Lissette), Ashley Smith (Waylon) and Aaron Lorenz; and great-grandchildren, Sophia Rose, Mia Rose, Landon Smith, Kendra Lorenz, Andon Lorenz, and a new one arriving in April 2023; brother Lino Ronquillo; sisters Marty Townsend and Jennie Hernandez, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
