Linda Penrod

Linda worked for the Alpaugh Unified School District for 35 years as the cafeteria supervisor. She loved going to Las Vegas or Laughlin, Nevada to play old school keno as much as she loved Dr. Pepper; she was never seen without a Dr. Pepper with a straw in her hands.

Linda, and her late husband, Sam, had a passion for German Shepherd Dogs. Many years ago, they bred and trained them with a dog club.

She is survived by daughter Rhonda Hamett and husband Chris of Corcoran, her grandchildren; Blaine Drewry of Alpaugh, Breesha Martin and husband Seth of Exeter and Brianna Drewry of Exeter, her many great grandbabies; Bayley, Presley, Sam, Rylynn, Matix, Kolton and Claire and many in laws, nieces, nephews and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband Samuel Penrod, parents Geraldine and Hairl Adams, brothers Hairl Adams and Sonny Dutlon and sister Sis Dutton.
