Jose "Joe" Gonzales

Jose was born to Juan & Gonzala (Diaz) Gonzales in Hanford, California on October 28, 1957. Jose passed away at his home in Hanford, California on Tuesday, January 1, 2013 while being cared for by his sister; Socorro Abernathy.

Joe worked as a loader at Silveira Farms for the past 4 years. He had been a resident of Hanford all of his life.

Jose is survived by his beloved mother; Gonzala Gonzales. He also leaves behind his five children; Joshua Gonzales-Wetzel, Leslie Gonzales, Marissa Gonzales, Conley Gonzales and Chandler Gonzales. Joe will also be missed by his 6 grandchildren and his loving siblings; Henry Hernandez, Maria Leinwar, Socorro Abernathy, John Gonzales, Lucy Hikalea, Gloria Becerra, Rose Angiolini, Jesse Gonzales and Jim Gonzales along with many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church; 870 N. Lemoore Avenue, Lemoore, CA 93245 559-924-2562.

Services are under the direction of People's Funeral Chapel.
