Jerry Lawrence Garcia

Jerry was born to Tony & Mary Garcia on July 28, 1958 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Hanford, California. Jerry went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at Kaweah Delta Medical Center in Visalia, California. Jerry has lived in Hanford all his life and spent some time in Armona too. Jerry was raised with his four siblings; sisters, Yolanda & Lucille, brothers, Johnny & Rocky. Some of Jerry’s passions in life were baseball, woodworking and watching the LA Lakers. Jerry attended Hanford High School. While Jerry was growing up he was good friends with; Mike Drummond, Doug Drummond, Sid Davis & Danny Fambrough. In later years Jerry was very close to his friends; Robert Ochoa, Mark Arevalo, Tony Morales, Carlos Nunez and Robert Valdez, which was also his caregiver.

Jerry was preceded in death by his father; Tony Garcia in March 2012, his sister; Yolanda Garcia Aguilar in January 2000, his cousin, Pressy Alonzo and his best friends; Mark Arevalo and Carlos “Carlito” Nunez. Jerry is survived by his beloved mother; Mary L. Garcia of Hanford. Jerry also leaves behind his loving siblings; Johnny Garcia of Hanford, Rocky Garcia & his wife, Cindy of Roseville and Lucille Beasley of Hanford, California. Jerry will be missed by his nieces; Delilah Aguilar & her husband, Tommy of Hanford, Stephanie Martinez & her husband, Carlos of Hanford, LaJuan Ayala & her husband, Fabian of Hanford, Angelina Garcia of Auberry, Sydnee Garcia of Hanford, Amber & Katie Garcia of Roseville, California. Jerry also leaves his special nephews; Mark Aguilar & his wife, Erin of Hanford and Michael Aguilar of Corcoran, California. Jerry leaves many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Jerry will be missed by all whose lives he touched…
