Jeffrey Lee Green

Jeffrey (Jeff) Lee Green, age 47, passed from this life on October 14, 2016, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash.

Jeff was born March 29, 1969, in Hanford, CA, at Sacred Heart Hospital. He attended Hanford schools and graduated from Hanford High School in 1987. Jeff was most recently employed as a machinist with Naffco Pump in Fresno, CA.

Jeff was most well-known for his ingenuity and amazing mechanical skills. He could fix, repair or build almost anything, big and small. Growing up, he spent most of his time at his parents business, J&H Metal Company. The scrap yard was virtually his playground paradise where his skills were learned, nurtured and honed. Throughout his life, starting at a very young age, he often leant his talents to family and friends alike.

While not formally affiliated with any specific church or temple, Jeff was very proud of his Jewish heritage from his father’s side of his family. He celebrated Chanukah and Christmas in his home.

Jeff was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Leo and May Green, and his maternal grandparents John Williamson and Virginia Williamson

Jeff leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving parents Harold and Cindy Green of Hanford, his son Brandon Tweed of Hanford, his grandmother Dorothy Williamson of Henderson, NV, his uncles and their wives, John and Mary Williamson of Hanford, Michael and Nancy Green of Oxnard, Harvey Green of Shell Beach, and several cousins.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 28, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at People’s Funeral Chapel; 501 N. Douty Street, Hanford, CA 93230 (559) 584-5591 with Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery; 11680 S. 10th Avenue, Hanford, CA 93230.
