Gilbert Vale Sr.

Gilbert was a spiritual dedicated family man and provider. For over 20 years he owned Gilbert’s Floor Care where he met many people in the community. Just as he was a hard worker, he also knew there was time to relax and enjoy family time with barbequing; camping, taking walks with his grandkids and we can’t forget joking around.

At a young age Gilbert’s heart was touched by a young girl in the 5th grade. What they thought was an innocent childhood friendship of riding bikes and playing at school developed into a strong bond. Such a strong bond it has lasted since they were 15 years old. Gilbert married his sweetheart Cathy Perez Vale. They have five children Gilbert Vale Jr., Rachelle Vale, Louie Vale, Selena Vale and Gilbert Vale III. He is also survived by his dear Aunt Vicky Tamayo and close niece Melissa Leach Vale all of Hanford.

Gilbert will be missed by his siblings, Servando Vale Jr. of Merced, Ca., Becky Lawrence & husband Leland of Caldwell, Idaho, Anna Barra & husband Victor of Burley, Idaho, Debbie Garcia Vale of Caldwell, Idaho, Barbara Gallegos & husband Gary of Rupert, Idaho, Cynthia Johnson & husband Ralph Jr. of Lewiston, Idaho. He leaves behind numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, 0brothers-in-law and sister-in-laws .

He was preceded in death by his mother Lucy Soto Fletcher, his brother David Vale and grandson Randy Garcia, Jr.

Visitation will be held at Koinonia Christian Fellowship Church 12536 Hanford Armona Rd. Hanford, CA on Friday, June 28, 2013 at 5 pm with a Service to follow at 6 p.m.
