Ernesto Quinonez Nieto "Ern Dog"

October 8, 1959 ~ February 7, 2017

Ernesto Quinonez Nieto, 57 passed away to be with the Lord on February 7, 2017 at Hacienda Healthcare in Hanford CA, with his loving wife by his side. Ernesto was born in Chewalla, Mexico to Belisario Nieto Morales and Rosa Quinonez Hernandez. He will be dearly missed by his wife Susan. He attended and graduated Woodland High School. He then moved and attended Yuba College. He was a hard-working man who worked several jobs throughout his life. One that he was most proud of was an electrical technician with Woodside Electronics.

Ern Dog, was the type of person who loved and enjoyed the outdoors. His favorite saying was "Peace Man". He always loved to go camping, fishing, traveling, swimming and bike riding. He also really enjoyed barbecuing, playing baseball and watching baseball, as well as nature programs and every Sunday making sure to watch his Oakland Raiders play.

Ernesto is survived by his wife Susan Nieto of 17 years, mother Rosa Quinonez Hernandez, son Nathan Raiche and family, daughter Salina Nieto and family, daughter Katrina Nieto and Adam Tapia. He also leaves to cherish his memory sister Bertha Nieto and family, brother Maoro Nieto and family, sister Mimi Nieto and family, brother Esteban Nieto and family and by so many more loving family members. He will be deeply missed and loved forever!

A Visitation will be held from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. with a Rosary Service at 2:00 p.m. at People’s Funeral Chapel; 501 N. Douty St., Hanford, CA.
