Earline was born to Benjamin Franklin Heath & Ora Lee Stinnet Heath in Travis County, Texas on December 5, 1919. She moved to Bakersfield, California where she met and married Leo M. Stickler in 1939 and they celebrated 53 years together. To this union was born two sons, Gene and Gerald.
Together they owned and operated S&H Produce Market in Grangeville, California from 1954 to 1984 where she met and befriended many people who stopped by to purchase their fruits and vegetables. Many will remember her also for the S&H Softball Team which they owned and sponsored. In her later years she was active in the Armona Senior Citizen Center where she served as treasurer. Earline was a faithful member of the Central Community Church and will be remembered by her family and friends as a dedicated Christian woman. She will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved her.
Earline was preceded in death by her son, Gene in 1986 and by her husband, Leo in 1992.
She is survived by her loving son, Gerald Stickler and wife, Susan of Hanford; six loving grandchildren , Sherri Stickler, Sandi Kavoosi, Natalie Hofmans, Brandon, Stephen and Leah Stickler; seven great grandchildren, Melissa Pedrosa, Jake and Luke Kavoosi, Blake and Nevaeh Hofmans, Kamryn and Kolter Stickler; two great great grandchildren, Rebecca and Julian Pedrosa.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2012 from 4 – 7 p.m. at People’s Funeral Chapel, 501 N. Douty Street in Hanford, CA. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 29, 2012 at 1 p.m. at People’s Funeral Chapel of Hanford. Earline will be laid to rest at Grangeville Cemetery in Armona, CA.
