Daniel was born to Pedro Leyva of Mexico and Rosa Velasquez of Hanford on August 6, 1970 in Sinaloa, Mexico.

Daniel passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Adventist Medical Center in Hanford, California.

Daniel has been a resident of Hanford, California for 16 years.

Daniel was employed as a Welder for Netto Ag for the last 2 years.

Daniel is survived by his parents; Pedro Leyva of Sinaloa, Mexico and Rosa Velasquez of Hanford, California. He is also survived by his beloved wife of 16 years; Leonor Quintero of Hanford, California. Daniel leaves behind his three precious children; Octavio, Daniel and Luciana Leyva all of Hanford, California. He will also be missed by his brothers; Alvaro & Maria Leyva of Hanford, California, Antonio & Linda Leyva of Hanford, California and his sister; Fabiola & Angel Moncada of Calexico, California.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, February 24, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at People’s Funeral Chapel; 501 N. Douty Street, Hanford, CA 93230
