Connie J. Eitel

Connie was born on September 10, 1952 in Hampton, IA to Verlon and Shirley Siems. Connie attended school in Hampton, IA. She was united in marriage to Robert Eitel on July 20, 1968 at her grandparents’ home in Aredale, Iowa. While enlisted in the Navy, Connie and Bob lived in Florida and Georgia before settling in Lemoore, CA. Connie worked many years at the MWR Enlisted Club in Lemoore, CA and part time at Subway in Hampton, IA and Lemoore, CA.

Connie loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She enjoyed spending summers with her mom in Iowa. While in Iowa she really liked going to the races to watch her nephew, Travis. Connie adored her dogs; Molly and Riley.

Connie is survived by her sons Shane Robert Eitel and Scott James Eitel of Lemoore, CA; granddaughters Cortney and Rebecca Eitel of Lemoore, CA; brothers David (Linda) Siems of Rock Falls, IA and Michael (Kim) Siems of Ventura, IA; sister Terri (Jeff) Staley of Hampton, IA; nephew and nieces Tyler, Travis, Chantal, Jill, Jason, Joe, Jessica, Jamie and Heather; great-nephew and nieces Brycen, Raycen, Addison and Aubree.

Connie was preceded in death by her husband Robert Eitel, parents Verlon & Shirley Siems and grandson Jordan.

A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 14th from 10:30 – 11:00 a.m. immediately followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. all at People’s Funeral Chapel; 501 N. Douty St., Hanford, CA.
