Bobby passed in peace on 11/26/2015 at the age of 74 years. He was a hardworking man that loved a good meal. He loved the 49ers for 50 years win or loses. Bobby was born in McAllester, Oklahoma to Kirt and Fonnie Hall. Bob finished the first 9 years of schooling in Oklahoma Schools, and the rest of his education in California.
He graduated from Laton Union High School in 1960 lettering in all four sports three years in a row. He was the most valuable player in football, basketball and baseball and received the trophy for each his senior year. He went to Reedley College majoring in Police Science for two years, and then went to Fresno City College where he earned his vocational teachers credentials. In 1962 Bob became a police officer in Laton working under Al Nestor and two years later in 1964 he was drafted in the U.S. Army for two years. He played on the all Army Basketball Team 1965 - 1966 and won the championship for all of Germany in 1966.
He returned to California in late 1966 and began working for Mid-Valley as a fireman for a year. Leaving the fire dept. and going to work in 1967 as a police officer for the city of Dinuba where he worked and earned the rank of Sgt. He retired after 25 years.
He met his wife Patricia Ann Hall while working in Dinuba. Bob and Pat had two children, Lisa Ann (Hall) Tobar and his son Travis Lee Hall. Bob’s favorite pass time was drag racing with his friends and his wife. Bob leaves behind his lovely wife Patricia, his daughter Lisa Ann (Hall) Tobar and her husband John Tobar. Travis Lee Hall and his lovely wife Michelle, his sister Glenda (Tootsie) French and her husband Bart French, his brother Curtis O’Dell Hall and his lovely wife Donna.
He also leaves five step grandchildren and one great-grandchild and numerous friends. He leaves his dog of 11 years Rufus who will miss him so much.
We want to thank his special friends Ira and Al from Dinuba and Anthony Raven who was like a second son. They will all three miss him for lunch.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Monday, December 7th at People’s Funeral Chapel 501 N. Douty St. Hanford with Funeral Service at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, December 8th at People’s Funeral Chapel with Burial following at Oak Grove Cemetery 19811 Cedar Ave Laton, CA
