Timothy "Tim" John Baisley

Tim Baisley was and remains larger than life. He served in the United States Navy for 30 years faithfully and steadfastly. He leaves behind a legacy of lives changed and improved through his presence and love. He loved his family fiercely and was blessed to be loved fiercely in return. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife, Karen; his children, Kat Baisley and Conner Baisley; his grandchildren, James “sidekick”, Charlotte “Charkies”, and Elliott “Kid Rock”; his mother, Linda Sullivan; his siblings, Cathy (Buck) Rose, Art (Patti) Baisley, Carol (Richard) Gonzalez, Ken (Natalie) Baisley, and Jim (Annette) Baisley; several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Baisley; brother, Mike Baisley, and his step-mother, Bonnie Baisley.

A public visitation for Timothy will be held Thursday, September 26, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 2551 North Armistead Ave, Hampton, Virginia 23666. A public visitation will occur Friday, September 27, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 250 Fox Hill Rd., Hampton, VA. A Celebration of Life service will occur Friday, September 27, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 250 Fox Hill Rd., Hampton, VA. An interment to follow the service with military honors will occur Friday, September 27, 2024 at St. Luke's Historic Church & Museum, Memorial Park, 14477 Benns Church Blvd., Smithfield, VA.
