Susan A. Woodard, aged 65, of Hampton, Virginia, peacefully passed away on December 20, 2023. She was born on January 11, 1958, in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, to the late Betty Grim and Earl Grim. Susan was a cherished wife, mother, sister, and friend whose presence will be deeply missed.
Susan will always be remembered for her generous spirit and radiant smile. Her warm and giving nature touched the lives of all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She had a kind and compassionate heart, always ready to lend a helping hand and bring comfort to those in need.
Devoted to her career, Susan served as the Cafeteria Manager at Hampton City Schools for over 30 years. Her dedication to providing nourishing meals to the students exemplified her commitment to their well-being and education.
Susan leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She is survived by her beloved husband of 17 years, Mark Waldbaum Sr., her son Timothy Woodard (Neada), her step-son Kevin Waldbaum, and Mark Waldbaum Jr. (Chelsey), her daughter Karli Woodard, her sisters Debbie Malick and Earleen Smith, her grandchildren Josh, Chloe, Taylor, Lily, and Madi, and her sister-in-law Michelle Morgan. She was preceded in death by her dear sister Karen Baker, her father-in-law John Waldbaum, and her mother-in-law Maria Waldbaum.
Susan A. Woodard's departure has left a profound void in our lives, but we find solace in knowing that her spirit will forever live on in our hearts. May she rest in eternal peace, and may her memory be a blessing to us all.
