Sue Anne Escamilla Barber

Sue was a member of Waters Edge Church.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Darlene Escamilla and grandson, Mikey Horton. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Skip Barber; daughter, Gee Horton (Mike); sons, Tony Jansen, Clay Jansen (Kathy), and Joby Jansen; 15 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; her father, Leo Escamilla; brother, Edward Escamilla; sisters, Peggy Foltz (Joe) and Mindy Martinez (Johnny).

Sue loved and cared for her family and was known to everyone as “Grandma Sue”.

A celebration of Sue’s life will be held 5:00 PM, Saturday, April 12, 2014 at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dorothy Hoefer Center, 11803 Jefferson Ave., Suite 130, Newport News, VA 23606.
