Stephanie was a bicentennial baby, born April 4, 1976 in Hampton. She grew up at Fort Eustis, Baumholder, Germany, and Hampton. She was a 1993 graduate of Bethel High School. Stephanie was a straight A student and received a full scholarship to Hampton University.
Stephanie worked for West Telemarketing where she made many lifelong friends. Her last position was a Property Manager for Harrison and Lear where she was awarded "Manager of the Year."
Stephanie loved her family very much - her dedication and infectious laugh made every family gathering the perfect occasion. Her strength was undeniable in every circumstance and her support for family and friends was unshakeable.
She was the best aunt to all her nieces and nephews, spending many weekends making sure they had fun activities. They all wanted to spend every weekend with Aunt Stephanie.
Stephanie was a loving and kind mother to Kelsey. She was dedicated, supportive and a best friend to Kelsey.
Stephanie never met a stranger. Once she met you, you were family. She was strong and her faith was unwavering. She had a huge personality which drew everyone to her.
Stephanie was preceded in rest by her grandparents, William Haraway, Jr.; Nofoatolu and Poululi Luifau; sister, Kristin Hunter; and her great niece, Kristin Sophia Ashihyan.
She is survived by her parents, Siaosi and Susan Liufau; daughter, Kelsey Johnson; soulmate, Jeffrey Tatem; brothers, George (Rena) and Christopher (Ashley) Liufau; grandmother, Alberta Wagner; nephews, Dylan Clarke and Cameron and Collin Liufau; nieces, Lacey Jones and Kristin and Emma Liufau; great niece; Kailyn Maria Ashihyan; and cousin, Valerie Miles.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM, Sunday, September 29, 2019 at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home. A Celebration of Stephanie's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, September 30, 2019 at the funeral home.
