Sherry Jean Morris

Sherry Jean Morris, age 59, of Hampton, Virginia passed away on Monday, September 19, 2022, surrounded by her family and friends. She was born on February 11th, 1963, in Hampton, Virginia to Benjamin "Lloyd" and Mildred Jean Morris. She was the second oldest of her siblings; Alecia Morris, Benny Morris Jr., Robin Powell (Gary Powell), and Angel Johnson (Billy Johnson). She is survived by her children; William Morris, Amy Renae Morris (Brandon Fletcher), and Hollie Goodson; and also by her boyfriend Stephen Johnson. She was the kindest and most loving Nana to her eight grandchildren; Eithen, Daniel, Mikela, Hope, Faith, Abigail, Aiden, and Ilaria and to her nieces; Jayla and Cayla. She was retired from being a Hampton City school bus driver for over 18 years. A visitation will be held Monday, September 26, 2022 from 6:00-8:00 PM in the Chapel at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home in Hampton. Sherry will be laid to rest in Walstonburg, NC at Walstonburg Cemetery on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at 2:00 PM.
