He was born August 28, 1947 in Lexington Alabama to Millard and Lutie Sims. Out of high school Ralph joined the United States Army, and honorably served his country for 20 years. After retiring from the Army Ralph became an over the road truck driver, a job he thoroughly enjoyed doing.
When Ralph wasn’t driving, there is nothing he loved more than spending time with his family, especially his 14 grandchildren and so many surrogate grandchildren.
He was predeceased by the love of his life Beverly Sims. Ralph was also predeceased by his parents along with his brothers Lloyd and Les Sims, and special brother in law George Piper. He also leaves behind his three daughters Donna, Kim and Marie, one stepson Delmore George and one step daughter Tori McFadden.
A private burial will take place at a later date.
