Mindy Todd Long, 41, of Smithfield, VA, loving wife and mother went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, October 23, 2020.
Mindy loved spending time relaxing at home with her family and her dogs. She loved watching cartoons and also taught English to kids in China.
She was an Assistant Principal for Hunter B. Andrews Elementary School in Hampton, VA. Mindy loved her teachers and kids there. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Southern Miss, and her Master’s Degree in Education from Old Dominion University.
Mindy is survived by her husband of 11 years, Troy, and a daughter, Kaley; her parents, a brother; and numerous family members and close friends.
The family will receive friends at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home on Friday, October 30, 2020 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at 2:00 pm with an interment at Parklawn Memorial Park to follow.
