Just discovered this web site. I was a Navy friend. Mike and I served on the same sub together and managed to stay in touch after we left Navy service. Mike was a good friend and we shared many good times together including evenings at Strawberry Banks. Rest well, Mike.

I’m so sorry to only hear about this now. Mike was a good friend of my mom Judy and Ernie. I will think of him fondly gathered on moms deck with all the old crowd from strawberry banks days. Rest well. 



A fond memory of my Uncle Mike.  It was late September 2004 when we last visited.  Mom came to visit me while we were stationed at Fort Eustis and I was just a few days away from giving birth to my son, John David.  It was a good visit and it was nice to see Mom and Uncle Mike spend some time together.  Our visits were few but you were always very kind.  Rest in peace Uncle Mike.  Sincerely, Jenny
