Very thankful to have experienced you as a genuine loving mother, grandmother, and my best friend. I miss you so much Miss Stallard🩷 Hug me in my sleep please, I love you!

Mom was an amazing mother in law.  I always feared I might have a bad one. But she was amazing! Welcomed me right into the family. She always made me laugh and I her. We got a long really well. We would always joke each other since I am a Hokie fan and she's a Mountaineer fan. I have so many memories and they have been going through my head each day. My regret is not being close by the last few years to make more memories with her. 

She loved Theodore and Adam a lot. It always brightened her day when Theo would video call her on FB and use the dragon face to talk to her. They both would laugh and laugh. She loved seeing Adam and remarked how much he looked like Clint and his grandfather. 

My heart is truley broken as she is/was one of a kind.

I worked with Mary at Phoebus High School. We enjoyed many social times together both at school & outside of school. She was a hard worker and a wonderful sharer of her talents both with teachers & students. Lunch time, around the large table in the science teachers' workroom,  was uplifting & and a terrific way to head back to the classroom with new vigor!

Mary was always warm and kind to me. It is not a wonder that so many memories of her mention her great smile and laughter. 

Her “Friends of Fayette County” Facebook group didn’t see that radiant smile but they read it in her posts and felt close to her. 

She was one of the few people I knew who would talk about science with me. She must have installed her wonder of the world, and how it works, in her children and students. 

She was a wonderful mom and I loved to hear her stories about my nieces and nephews. She was so proud of them and her beautiful grandkids. 

She left us too young. She left a lot of memories that our family will cherish over the years. Wish I could see that smile just one more time. 

Mary was a wonderful person, great teacher and a good friend.  She touched many young lives while at Phoebus High School and took an active role in community/school activities.

Mary and I were classmates at Gauley Bridge High School.  She was a wonderful friend.  Mary was a good student.  I always enjoyed her smile and ability to engage others in friendship.  We were on Facebook together in recent years.  I could sense her deep love for her family.  Much love and prayers to you all.

Mary so happy to have shared grand children with you. I hope your enjoying flowers and Blue Jay’s.

Mary and I were lifelong friends and shared many hometown memories.  She always made me laugh with her great sense of humor.  I shall always treasure our fun conversations and remember her with joy.  My sympathy to family and other friends in her loss.

Mary was such a fine teacher and a great person to be around, always smiling, always helpful, always thoughtful. She will be missed, for she brought a lot of personality and wit to the classroom and workplace. I loved to hear her laugh.

Mary was my friend.  She took me under her wing and taught me all about Earth Science.  I knew I could always go to her with my questions as a new teacher. We were both West Virginia girls ! She did love our state.  Our classrooms were next door to each other and we spent many fun times together.  I will miss her and always smile as I think of my friend. 

We are so sorry that you have left us We enjoyed knowing. Thank for being kind and loving to our daughter We love your son and will always be there for him.   Farewell for now

Mary was an enthusiastic and dedicated Earth Science teacher at Phoebus.   She was a sharing and much respected colleague in the close knit science department.  She had a twinkle and a wry sense of humor.   She gave us my sweet Colby,  one of our two orange cats, and was always interested in a conversation about one of the feline fur babies.   She was proud of her family.   I feel like I was just talking with her.  So sad at her sudden loss. 

My mom and dad loved your grandparents!  Your grandmother was my babysitter and I loved her dearly.  She would talk of her sweet twins and of French ( my dad adored him).  Facebook connected sweet Mary and I .  I have truly loved our little snippets of conversations over the years, I will miss her and our connection to our home town.  She and I never met, but that never mattered I felt like I knew her anyway...that is the way Gauley Bridge people are!  My deepest sympathy for your family, but take peace in knowing they are all rejoicing together <3


Mary, I fell in love with you when I first met you.  You were so kind to Clint's goofy little sister and you could always make me laugh.  You will always be "family" in my heart and I know you are up there with Critters and the rest of the menagerie watching over your kids and grandkids.  West Virginia forever! 

So sorry for the list of Aunt Mary. Love and comfort to her family and loved ones, I'm sure she will be missed greatly.
