Mary Davis Mangum

Mary D. Mangum, age 93, of Newport News, Virginia passed away on Thursday November 23, 2023. Mary is survived by her daughters Deborah Gordey, Jan M. Pendleton, Tammy Owens, and Mary Louise Mangum. She also leaves behind beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren,: Scooter Phillips, Ariel Neulander, Duncan Neulander, and Lilian and Gavin Phillips; Bonnie Phillips, Tyla and Marley Phillips; Rob and Shanna Gordey; Aurora Gordey; Charles Pendleton; and, Larissa Mangum and Madison Owens. Mary was preceded in death by her husband Yarborough Proctor Mangum; her grandson Craig H. Pendleton Jr and her daughter Fran P. Mangum. A visitation will be held on Sunday December 3, 2023 from 3:00-5:00 PM at Parklawn Wood Fuenral Home, 2551 N. Armistead Ave, Hampton VA, 23666. A service will be held on Monday December 4, 2023 at 2:00 PM, at Parklawn Wood Funeral Home, followed immediately by a committal service.
