Martina Kaye-Marie Sawtelle born at Fort Stewart, GA on May 17, 1991 passed away on October 1, 2024 at 10:13 PM in the arms of her mother and sister with many loved ones around her. Her bright smile and care free attitude and her presence will truly be missed. We are requesting everyone wear blue in her honor to celebrate her life.
She is preceded in death by grandmother Cheryl Davis and grandfather Gary Sawtelle.
Martina leaves behind her sons Ayden and Kaleb, along with her mother Fawn West (Paul) and father Thurston Sawtelle (Jennifer). She also leaves behind siblings James West (Anna), Audrianna Oliva (Gabriel), Riley Sawtelle, Averie Sawtelle (Alex), Preslee Sawtelle and Kenlee Sawtelle. She leaves behind grandparents Dennis Davis, Ronald West, Marti West and Deborah Brengle, as well as niece Jocelynn Oliva, Evelynn Sawtelle and nephew Gabriel Oliva.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 12, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home, 2551 North Armistead Ave, Hampton, Virginia 23666. A Celebration of Life will occur at 12:00 PM, followed by a light reception.
