Margaret L Agee

Margaret Agee, 91, peacefully passed into eternity September 5, 2023. She loved the Lord and was a faithful servant and prayer warrior who deeply trusted God in all things until the end of her time on earth.
A native of Floyd, Virginia and resident of Hampton, Virginia since 1951, Margaret was a faithful member of Liberty Live Church. Lovingly known as "Granny" by many, she spent her life devoted to taking care of her family. She enjoyed gardening, puzzles, baking and spending time with her children, grandchildren, friends and neighbors.
Margaret is preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, James (J.W.) Agee. She is survived by their three children, David Agee (Dawn), Jo Ann Barbour (Bruce) and Kay Harris, her sister, Sylvia Epperly, brother-in-law Murray Agee (Pat), six grandchildren: Allison (Barbour) Watson, Eric Barbour, Melanie Harris, Amanda (Harris) Mejias, Sandy Harris, and Jake Harris, and many nieces and nephews. She found special delight in her seven great-grandchildren, Sophia, Ava, Liam, Grayson, Blakely, Wells and Judah, whose photos and artwork were prominently displayed in her home
A graveside service in loving memory of Margaret's life will be held by Reverend Joe Hunt at Parklawn Memorial Park in Hampton on Monday, September 11 at 11:00 AM.
