Lara Lamont, 49, passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2016. She was born in Illinois and a lifelong resident of Hampton. Lara was a Lab Tech for Sentara hospitals for over 10 years. She was an avid sports fan, especially pool, where she played in many national championships in Las Vegas.
Lara was preceded in rest by her grandfather, William H. Russell and maternal grandmother, Lillian Russell. She is survived by her mother, Ann Lamont; uncle and aunt, Gary and Lyn Russell; close friends, Col. Rick Rose and family as well as Lillian Evans; numerous cousins, and her two companions, Russell and Ginger.
Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the Animal Aide Society, 80 Butler Farm Road, Hampton, VA 23666.
At the request of Lara, no services will be held.
