Josephine was a devoted wife and mother; loving to cook for them every chance she could and providing a beautiful and wonderful home.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Johnny C. Tomlinson of Hampton; and daughter, Tonya Y. O Rourke and husband James H. O Rourke, Jr. of Maricopa, Arizona.
A memorial celebration of Josephine's life will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, August 9, 2012, at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Josephine’s name to the American Diabetes Association.
