Joseph Mario Falzone

Joseph Mario “Joe” Falzone, 76, passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2013. He was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania and was a resident of Grafton for 45 years. He retired from the U.S. Air Force after 20 years of service. He worked for various contractors at NASA for 30 years. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Frances Falzone. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Ilene C. Falzone; son, Joseph M. Falzone, III; three daughters, Karen Fox (Timothy A.), Deborah Curtis (Robert), Kimberly Haney (Dennis); five grandchildren, Kyle, Robbie, Morgan, Katie, and Amber; sister, Theresa Shibley; and his faithful companion, “Lucky”. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home. A celebration of Joseph's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 7, at the funeral home. Interment with military honors rendered by the U.S. Air Force will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made in lieu of flowers to Victory Christian Center in Poquoson, Virginia.
