Jerry Thomas Catron Sr.

J.T. retired from Hampton Roads Transit.

He is preceded in rest by his first wife, Alice Baker Catron, daughter, Lisa Catron Davis, and his parents, Rev. Frank T. and Katie B. Catron. J.T. is survived by his wife of 21 years, Shirley A. Catron; son, Jerry T. Catron, Jr. (Sherry), two daughters, Elizabeth Hensley (James) and Toni Schmidt; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Patricia A. Frink (Roy) and Joan B. Edwards (Grover).

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 PM on Monday, February 25, at Second Community Baptist Church, 39 Harpersville Rd., Newport News, VA, 23601.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Second Community Baptist Church.
