Janet Evon Byzewski

On 3/22/22, Jan passed away after a brave battle of cancer. She was a friend to all and never met a stranger. A person of faith that allowed her to live life serving others. She enjoyed cooking for her family, friends and church events. We will miss many of her recipes. Jan was born on 4/10/46 in Wichita Kansas to Samuel and Bernice Fields. Jan was preceded in death by Samuel Fields (Father) Bernice Anderson (Mother) Richard Fields (Brother) Nicholas Walker (son) and Travis Jenkins (Grandson). Jan is survived by her loving husband and soulmate, Robert Byzewski of 44 years. Stacy Dufner (Don) Watkins, MN. Jackie Parent (David) St. Jacob, IL. Jan had many Grandchildren that she held near and dear to her heart. Christopher Walker from Yorktown VA, Elizabeth Melvin (Matt) from Sanford, NC, Courtney Brown (Kevin) from Watkins MN, Amelia Delosh-Dufner (Ana) from Davenport FL, Kara McCalahan (Denny) Lake St Louis, MO, Brittany Stanczyk (Russell) from Syracuse NY and many great grandchildren. Visitation and Rosary are scheduled at Parklawn-Wood 2551 N Armistead Ave Hampton VA on Friday 3/25/22 from 4-8pm. Funeral services will be on Saturday, 3/26/22 at 9am at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Community 1792 First Ave Hampton VA. Burial will follow after Mass at Parklawn-Wood cemetery, followed by a reception at Parklawn- Wood reception hall.
