Hubert L. Robison

Hubert attended Putnam City High School in Oklahoma. After graduating, he joined the U.S. Navy in March 1958 and served at various bases and schools. He met the love of his life while stationed in Holy Loch, Scotland. Upon his retirement as Chief Torpedoman’s Mate in October 1983, they settled their family in Newport News, Virginia where he worked at several jobs with the last twenty years at Busch Gardens, Williamsburg. His favorite hobbies were his trains, watching movies, going on cruises and camping with friends.

Hubert is predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his wife of fifty-nine years, Barbara; his two children, Wayne (Terri) Robison, Gwen (Tommy) Newton; and his four grandchildren; Tommy, Tyler (Lauren), Katie and Luke.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 1, 2022 from 4:00-7:00 PM at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home. Celebration of Life will be held at Liberty Live Church on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at 10:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Hubert’s memory to Liberty Live Church.
