She was a native of North Carolina and resident of Hampton for 73 years.
Fannie was of the Methodist faith and a hard working homemaker.
She is preceded in rest by her husband, James F. Woodard, Sr.. Fannie is survived by two sons, James F. Woodard Jr. and wife Judy, and Kenny Woodard; daughter, Lou King and husband Alvin; five grandchildren, Sandy Christensen and husband Al, Steve King, Jamie Woodard, Juanita Rowland, Thomas King and wife Kim; five great-grandchildren, Amy Rowland, Michael Rowland, Kristen Willis, Granger Woodard, Faith Ross; and great-great-grandson, Mason Willis.
The family will receive friends 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm Sunday, July 19, 2015 at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home. A celebration of Fannie's life will follow at 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment in Parklawn Memorial Park.
