Bridgette & Giovanni, Words can't express the loss that I know your family is feeling right now. I remember your mom "doing my hair" when I first moved over to the peninsula.  Then in her infinite wisdom, she turned me over to you, Bridgette because she felt you would give me more contemporary hairstyles. I know there will be a void because Miss Essie was the "rock" of your family and I will miss her travel tales. She taught me to "go and see the world"! I happened to be on Cooke's website because I was looking for another gentleman who passed; he passed the same day as your mom. Then I noticed a lady smiling and there was your mom's picture; my heart fell. Your mom was a jewel. God bless and comfort you; I'm praying for you.
