She devoted herself to her family and was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. Her friends, and their wellbeing, were important to her. She was a BINGO enthusiast and loved to play.
Preceding her in rest is her husband, Fredrick “Buck” McFarland, and parents, Floyd and Estelle Buchanan. Surviving members of her family include her daughter, Cynthia Lohr and husband Daniel “Willie” of Orange; grandchildren, Miranda Lohr and Hayley Lohr; and sisters, Emma Robinson of Hampton, and Alice Bohn and husband Dick of Las Vegas, Nevada.
The family will receive friends Saturday morning, June 25, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home, where a celebration of Bea’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park in Hampton.
