Ed Lambert, 71, died peacefully in his sleep July 16, 2014. He was an engaging father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, brother, and lifelong friend. A man that was larger than life. His boisterous laughter and humorous tales, his guidance and reassurance, and support and understanding are all virtues we will miss in our daily lives.
He is survived by his daughters, Kimberley and Wendy Lambert; sisters, Anita Lambert and Carmeane Kemp; granddaughters, Krystal Hirsch and Klarissa Geary; grandson, Liam Edward; great-grandchildren, Shaeleigh and Andreas.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, August 3, 2014 at Parklawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, in Hampton, Virginia. A second memorial service will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Friday, August 22, 2014 at Fort Snelling Memorial Chapel, in St. Paul, Minnesota, with inurnment to follow at 1:30 pm at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Arrangements are under the direction of Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home, 2551 N. Armistead Avenue, Hampton, Virginia.
