Donald Brooks Simpkins, 51, passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2016. Donald resided in Palm Bay for many years. He worked for Newport News Shipbuilding in his younger years. He loved fishing, hunting, horse shoes, and barbecues with family and friends.
Donald was preceded in rest by mother, Martine Simpkins. Left to cherish his memory are his son, Joshua B. Simpkins; father, William H. Simpkins; sisters, Denise Fitzgerald and Debbie Ward (Tommy); brother, David Simpkins; very special friend, Rene Steffens; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and family.
His famous college football team was Alabama, “Roll Tide.” He was loved by many. “GO BAMA.”
The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:30 pm on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home, with a celebration of Donald’s life to follow at 3:30 pm.
