Clifford A. Melrose, 80, passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2015, after a lengthy illness at Hampton VA Medical Center. He was born in Deadwood, SD and raised in Seattle, WA. He served in the Marine Corp during the Korean Conflict. He also worked as a merchant marine for many years.
He leaves to cherish his loving and devoted wife, Georgia; sons, Steven, Clifford Jr., Clifford III and Michael Melrose, and Steven Morgan; daughters, Janice, Brenda, Gwendolyn and April; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Clifford’s life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at New Bethel Cathedral COGIC, Hampton, officiated by Dr. Melvin L. Austin.
