Born on March 22, 1947, Cheryl was a devoted mother, loving grandmother, and proud great-grandmother. She was known for her strength, steady presence, and deep love for her family.
She is survived by her children, Shannon McCoy and Shane McCoy; her grandchildren, Tabitha, Awbree, Shaun, and Kaylee; and her great-grandson, Eli.
Cheryl is now reunited with her beloved son, Shaun McCoy, and her parents. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
A visitation for Cheryl will be held Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at 9:00 AM at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home, 2551 North Armistead Ave, Hampton, Virginia 23666, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 10:00 AM. Cheryl will be laid to rest at 11:00 AM at Hampton Memorial Gardens, 155 Butler Farm Road, Hampton, Virginia 23666.
