Cathleen Capone Norville

She graduated as Salutatorian from Phoebus High School in 1980 and graduated Suma Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Information Science from Christopher Newport College in 1992.

Cathleen worked as a Labor Analyst for over 40 years for various companies including: Calculon Corporation, Orc Inc., ARC, Unisys Corporation, Ratheon Technological Services Company, DB Consulting Group, Inc., Metis Technology Solutions, Inc. and SAIC.

She dedicated time as a fundraising volunteer with the Carrolton Fire Department and was awarded the Leslie “Bill” Reed Service Award.

One of Cathleen's proudest achievements is when she was awarded the NASA Exceptional Public Service Medal.

She is survived by her loving and dedicated husband of 42 years Jimmy Lee Norville. Sister Colette Moody and husband Daryl, brother Joe Capone, wife Mary, sister in-law Janet Fore, husband Mark. Beloved nephews and nieces, Josh Fore and wife Christin, Aaron Fore and Caitlyn Schiano, Stephanie Payne and husband Jeremy, Caitlyn Amor and husband Drew, Emily Moody and wife Katrina Koetting Great niece and nephews, Caroline Fore, Wyatt Fore, Colton Fore and Casey Payne. Aunt and Uncle, Judy and Harold Capone. Cousins, Carey Anderson, husband Eric and their son Liam, Justin Capone and wife Jillian all of Massachusetts. Cathleen was preceded in death by her loving parents Francis J. Capone Sr. and Diane Marie Capone.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home, 2551 North Armistead Ave, Hampton, Virginia 23666. A memorial service will begin at 12:00 PM, followed by interment at Parklawn Memorial Park.
