Casey Alan Mills

Casey Alan Mills, 38, passed away peacefully at Sentara Careplex on Monday, March 18, 2013 after a brief illness. He was a native of Hampton, Virginia his entire life. Casey was a beloved son to Janet and EB and an adored father to Dylan. He was witty, artistic, kind-hearted and a great friend to all who knew him. He was truly a fine person to know and will be greatly missed by all. Casey was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, James T. Spivey and his paternal grandparents, Nancy and Carroll Mills. He is survived by his only child, a daughter, and the center of his world, Dylan Avalee Mills; his parents, Janet S. Mills and Edwin B Mills; his maternal grandmother, Margie A. Spivey; his uncle, Tim Spivey; his aunt, Terry Walker; his aunt, Trisha Midgett; uncle, Steven Mills; uncle, Sterling Mills; and lots of loving family and close friends. Memorial services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, March 23, 2013 at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home, 2551 N. Armistead Avenue, Hampton, VA 23666. The family has requested that expressions of sympathy be in the form of contributions to the "Casey Mills Memorial College Fund" established for Dylan Mills.
