Carolyn loved her Lord and Savior and was an active member of Parkview Church of God. She enjoyed motorcycles, making jewelry and adored her pets.
Carolyn is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Ronald Lee Ray of Hampton, Virginia; her son, Barry John Kemp (Sandra) of Gloucester and her daughter, Tessie Grigwire or New York; her sister, Sandra Barlow and her brother, William “Billy” Schroding; her grandchildren, Jeffrey Kemp, Barry Kemp, Jr., Krystal Harp, Nikki Ryba and Brandi Onken.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, William John Schroding and Lillian Jones Schroding.
A public visitation will be held on Thursday May 26, 2022 at the Parklawn Wood Funeral Home chapel at 11:00 a.m., to be followed by a Celebration of Life service in the same location at 12:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Parklawn Memorial Park immediately following the service.
