He attended Montclair High School, in Montclair, New Jersey, where he was an outstanding member of the basketball team. He joined the church at an early age. He was an active member of the Clinton Memorial AME Zion Church, where he served as a member of the Choir and the Janitorial Staff.
He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Los Angeles Laker fan. He loved his family. The saying was, "if Brian had your address he was coming to see you." Brian loved to be in the company of Family and Friends, and his smile would light up a room.
"BB" as he was affectionately called, leaves to cherish his memory, his loving sisters, Toni (Marlon) Cater of Harrisburg, PA., Sandra (Derrick) MCCargo of Newport News, VA., LaDonna Greene of Newport News, VA.; Brothers, Rodney (Lisa) Myrick of Hanover, MD., Michael Dewayne Holland and Damon Holland of Newport News, VA; uncles, aunts, several nieces, nephews, cousins, along with some of his closest friends. We would also like to acknowledge his adopted brothers, Terenski (Angela) Carter of Hampton, VA., and David (Shawntee) King of Hampton, VA.
