Brenda Belcher Taylor

Brenda was a Senior Budget Analyst with the Department of Defense at Fort Monroe and retired after 33 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Newport News.

Brenda was preceded in rest by her parents, and brother, Thomas Belcher. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Stephen K. Taylor; son, Matthew S. Taylor (Nary); daughter, Jessica M. Taylor (Rich); in-laws, Debra Belcher, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Toffenetti, Mr. and Mrs. David Lorincz and Mr. and Mrs. Mick Monelly.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 pm, Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home, followed with a celebration of Brenda’s life at 1:00 pm. Entombment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park.

The family thanks the staff at Interim Health Care for their care and compassion during this difficult time.
