Bobbie Robinson Manspile

She was born in Judson, North Carolina and was born in grandmothers house, and has lived in Hampton Virginia ever since.

She was born September 11, 1937, the daughter of George Cecil and Blanche Greene Robinson. She was saved at an early age.

She met the love of her life William when she was 13 years old and married him a year later. The eloped and got married on June 12, 1952 in South Carolina. They were married for 55 years before he went home to be with the Lord.

Bobbie was a charter member of the Maranatha Baptist Church, and loved to work with the children. She was a faithful servant until her last days. She was incharge of the Childrens Church ministry with her husband for 35 years.

She is survived by her daughter Kathy, and husband Tony; grandson William and wife Alicia, granddaughter Bobbie Marie and husband Craig, her brother Cecil Robinson and his wife Josie, her sister Betty Thompson and husband Elvin. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Bobbie was predeceased by her husband William Manspile Sr, son William (Mack) Jr, and daughter Debra.

A Visitation for Bobbie will be held on Monday March 11, 2024 from 6-8 PM at Parklawn Wood Funeral Home, located at 2551 N. Armistead Ave, Hampton Virginia 23666.

A Celebration of life will be held at Maranatha Baptist Church on Tuesday March 12, 2024 at 11:30 AM with an internment to follow at Parklawn Memorial Park.
