Betty was born March 27, 1940 in Augusta County, VA the daughter of John and Ardenia Crews of York County, VA.
Betty spent a great part of her life as a resident in the Wythe area of Hampton, attended Hampton High School, and then went on to raise a loving family.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her brother, Joe Lee (Sleepy) Crews; and sister, Geraline (Gerry) Smith.
Betty is survived by her partner of 13 years Kenneth Bullock; two daughters, Loria L. Mooneyham and husband Scott; Cynthia Elliott-Semrau and husband Michael; two grandsons, Christopher L. Mooneyham and Gregory M. Mooneyham; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until Noon on Monday February 16, 2015, with a celebration of her life immediately following visitation. The service will be led by Rev. Joe Hunt from Liberty Baptist Church in Hampton, VA. All will take place in the chapel at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home, 2551 N. Armstead Avenue, Hampton, VA. And she will be laid to rest at Parklawn Memorial Park.
