A knock upon the door it came
With a sweet voice calling her name
Well done, my good and faithful servant
It’s time to start your heavenly job
And view the stars above thee
That shine one by one
Into the city of her dreams
The face of her dear Mother, kindly beams
Upon her now
Compassion of her childhood, who shared
Those sunny dreams
O’ Blessed host of Angels, which now by
Faith she sees
Come hear her weary spirit, across the stormy sea
We hear the joy of peace, as she enters
The city of her dreams
Always in our hearts and minds for her love in everlasting.
